Mile Square Park
There are few major things to change this park for better community. The lighting system and the wildlife such as trees and grass.
The lighting system is most important, because running in night time without bright light would be very hard and it can cause lots of problems. One day, I went on a walk between 7:00pm - 8:00pm, most of the lights were very weak and some of them were turned off. People can actually trip over some of the rocks and will not be able to see well, hit by something that can cause big trouble. Mile Square Park's running and walking path way is not perfectly squared, so people can get lost without the bright lights. I can get lost too even though I have been to this park so many times.
The next problem is dead trees and some of the grass part is gone. I went to the park 2 days ago, I met park ranger. He said there are lots of dead trees can cause very big hazard to visitors, so I went to look around the park. Some of the trees were about to fall and some of them were cut off, which means that the tree was about to fall, so the park ranger said they had to cut it down.
There are big lakes, people can go fishing and trout season is almost over, so there are only few trouts in the lake, people can catch and take 5 trouts per day. The amount of fish that people can take is different depends on the kind of fish. People must have license.
In this park, there are lots of geese and ducks. The path way is full of feces, visitors have hard time trying not to step on it while running or walking. Even I had hard time trying not to step on it while I was checking out the park.
